If you know Hayao Miyazaki's Studio Ghibli movies or games you may just know about Soot Sprites. My Neighbor Tororo was my first introduction to these wonderful creatures. Add a little magic to your life with these whimsical earrings.  Each dust sprite takes up to 30 minutes to create. Worked with flame temperatures of 940-970 degrees Fahrenheit for soft glass, and 1050 degrees Fahrenheit for borosilicate glass before they anneal (cool slowly) in the kiln for a few hours to to strengthen the beads and help with longevity. They are then soaked in water so they can be cleaned, dried, polished, and sorted, each charm is looped at the top by hand. Then the magic of combining each part to make a one-of-a-kind piece of wearable glass jewelry. Each hand-crafted item is and may have slight variations and no two will ever be exact. 
 
* These are made to order, and can be customized in color. Glass may need to be ordered to fill custom orders, and may add additional wait time, or due to seasonal weather delays. By preordering you are agreeing to the extra wait. 
 
* Care- To care for your items, you should avoid wearing them while swimming bathing, and showering. Clean your item with a soft dry microfiber cloth and for a deeper clean add a drop of soap and a little water, then dry. Store in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight.
